Phoenix Import Car Scene: Your Guide to Local Car Shows and Meets
June 23, 2026
A roundup of the real Phoenix-area events every import and JDM owner should know — Friday Nights at Wildhorse Pass, Saturdays at Pavillions, and Expo Racing.
A Real Local Roundup, Not a Generic List
There's no shortage of generic "car shows near you" content online, most of it thin and disconnected from what's actually happening on the ground. This roundup is different — it's built from the events our own agency actually shows up to, the ones our clients talk about, and the ones that make Phoenix a genuinely good place to own an import or JDM car.
Friday Nights at Wildhorse Pass
Bring your import car, or just come view some of the best restored and preserved classic automobiles. Racing hours are at night — the event runs from 5 am to 10:00 pm on the Main Track, giving it one of the longer windows of any regular local gathering. It's a solid weekly option if you want to see a genuine mix of import and classic vehicles without waiting for a once-a-year show.
Saturdays at the Pavillions
Billed as the longest running car show in America, this Saturday gathering at the Pavillions runs 3 pm to 10:00 pm in the Parking Lot. It's become something of an institution in the local scene — a reliable, high-turnout weekly show that draws a broad cross-section of builds, from bone-stock imports to serious modified cars.
Saturdays — Expo Racing
Come see the best in professional racing! Held in the Parking Lot on Saturdays, Expo Racing pairs well with a Pavillions visit if you want to round out a weekend with some actual on-track action rather than just a static show.
Why We Show Up
We're not sponsoring these events from a distance — being part of the Phoenix import scene is part of how we built this agency in the first place. Showing up to Wildhorse Pass on a Friday night or the Pavillions on a Saturday isn't a marketing exercise, it's just where a lot of our clients (and our own team) already are.
If you're newer to the Phoenix import community, these three events are the easiest on-ramp — consistent schedules, real turnout, and a genuine cross-section of the local scene rather than a one-off annual event you have to plan months around.
Bringing Your Own Car Out
A few practical notes if you're planning to bring your import to any of these: make sure it's properly titled and insured for the drive over, keep basic documentation of its condition if it's a higher-value or agreed-value build, and double check current times before heading out since schedules can shift seasonally. See our full events page for the current listing details.
